Details

This false-colour satellite view of southern Namibia, with the Orange River along the lower edge, was created from Sentinel-2 imagery using a combination of shortwave, near-infrared, and visible light to emphasise the region’s unique geology. The resulting colours reveal striking variations in rock and soil composition, with natural greens, reds, and ochres highlighting the area’s complex formations. The image was composited and balanced for clarity while retaining the authentic texture and geological diversity of the desert landscape.

Paper + Printing

Default paper - The satellite image is printed on high quality 260gsm satin photo paper.

Printing - We use pigment-based inkjet printing technology to achieve gallery-quality results. Unlike standard dyes, pigment inks offer exceptional colour accuracy, crisp detail, and archival longevity, so your print retains its vibrance over time.

Shipping + Returns
  • Turnaround time is important to you (and to us).  Each product is printed on demand so that you receive a brand new print instead of one that has been sitting on a shelf.  This leads to production times that may vary, but orders will typically be shipped out within 2-6 business days with longer wait times occurring during the busy holiday periods.
  • All of our satellite images are carefully packaged & delivered in a firm cardboard tube.
  • We currently deliver nationwide, only in South Africa, using The Courier Guy.
  • We offer 30-day returns on all
products. Read more about our return policy here.
