Cape Peninsula & Robben Island

This map of the Cape Peninsula and Cape Town, is a modern and detailed map that extends from Robben Island in the north to the Cape Point at its southern tip. It includes the entire peninsula, its adjacent bays, the Cape Town Harbour, city districts, suburbs and iconic landmarks. These include Table Bay, Hout Bay and False Bay; the Table Mountain National Park and Cape Town International Airport. All road and rail infrastructure is shown.

The map is an original creation by our design studio at Africa Map Art and uses data from various up-to-date sources. The map is printed on 220gsm heavyweight coated paper with a matte finish and is available in a variety of standard colour styles. We are open to personalisation and customisation requests including the highlighting of specific buildings or features, any colour scheme of your choice and the addition of text and images. Please contact us for a quote. Various alternative paper options are also available including 260gsm high quality satin photographic paper, at no extra charge.

The Cape Peninsula is a dramatic landscape of rugged mountains, cliffs, and coastlines bordered by the Atlantic and False Bay. Its most prominent feature is Table Mountain, a flat-topped landmark overlooking the city, while the peninsula itself forms part of the Table Mountain National Park, home to unique fynbos vegetation and diverse wildlife, including baboons and African penguins at Boulders Beach. Historically, the Cape Peninsula was inhabited by the Khoisan people before becoming a vital stop for European sailors after Bartolomeu Dias rounded the Cape in 1488 and the Dutch established a refreshment station in 1652. Today, it is renowned for its natural beauty, biodiversity, and cultural heritage, making it a key tourist destination in South Africa.
