The Garden Route 1 satellite image covers a 100km stretch of coastline from Mossel Bay in the west to Knysna in the east. This version highlights the ocean with the swirls of the offshore currents made more visible through light tonal adjustments. As well as the inland town of George, the coastline includes Mossel Bay, Groot Brakrivier, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Buffalo Bay and Knysna. The land portion of the image is approximately 30km wide and stretches from the Outeniqua Mountains in the north down to the green coastal belt. The image was composited for a continuous and consistent scene and minor visual artefacts were repaired to produce a smooth, balanced image. Colour variations between the Garden Route 1 and Garden Route 2 images are due to different seasonal and atmospheric conditions.

Paper - Our recommended paper is the high quality 260gsm satin photo paper. However a 230gsm matte coated paper is available and also achieves an outstanding printing result.
Printing - We use pigment-based inkjet printing technology to achieve gallery-quality results. Unlike standard dyes, pigment inks offer exceptional colour accuracy, crisp detail, and longevity so your print retains its vibrance over time.
Note: These prints are to be treated as artworks and handled with care.
